San Francisco Design Week is an annual city-wide festival that showcases the intersection of ideas, design, business and entrepreneurism in the Bay Area. For SF Design Week 2023, I played a key role in leading social media, content strategy, influencer marketing, and brand partnerships. Social Strategy + Content Creation + Creative Direction
I crafted a diverse organic social media strategy for SF Design Week, featuring increased posting frequency and captivating Instagram reels. These trendy reels showcased industry leaders like Shujan Bertrand, Founder/CEO of SF-based Àplat, and Chris Villaseran, design program manager for Oakland-based Enlisted Design. I utilized the “Day in the Life”, Wes Anderson-style trend for these reels.
Additionally, I contributed to creative direction for in-event photos and videos, working alongside Christopher Perry. Together with Chip, we ensured a consistent look and feel for evergreen assets that could be used during the event and throughout the year. With the SF Design Week team, we achieved impressive results for organic social in just two months:
